The right person for this role will have excellent report writing skills and enjoy working with a mixed caseload. We are looking for OT’s with experience in Pediatrics, Mental Health, Home modifications and Adult services.

Key Responsibilities

Caseload Management: Ability to take on and maintain a full caseload effectively, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Mentorship: Support and engage in the professional development of junior therapists and assist in the induction of new graduates.

Clinical Excellence: Exercise independent professional judgement while providing complex clinical services to NDIS participants (ages 2–65) with various disabilities.

Adaptability: Delivering services across Pediatrics, Mental Health, Home Modifications, and Adult Services to ensure readiness for upcoming NDIS reforms and participant needs.

Service Delivery: Deliver efficient, timely services at participants’ homes, schools, or in-clinic as best suited to participant needs and your preferences.

Report writing: Experience writing reports and advocating to the NDIS for participants.
Key Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of experience is highly desirable.

Pediatric Expertise: Strong experience in Pediatrics is essential.

Multidisciplinary Skillset: Proven ability or willingness to work across Mental Health, Home Modifications, and Adult Services to support a diverse caseload.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational therapy and current registration with AHPRA.

Passion: A genuine desire to provide high-quality support for people living with high-needs disabilities.

Communication: Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of NDIS practice standards and funding models is desirable.

- Current Driver’s License and willingness to work between clinic and community settings.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain with a current Police check).
