The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join the team at Aru, Full-Time or Part-Time role available. If you have a strong desire to learn and grow in an upscale kitchen environment, this is the perfect role for you.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes following established recipes and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to effectively manage a section, ensuring timely and efficient service in order to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
- Ensure precise portioning, proper storage, and accurate labelling of all ingredients, while also monitoring stock levels and placing orders for the section.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation standards for workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Our successful candidate will have:
- Minimum two years’ experience at Commis Chef level in a venue of a similar calibre.
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery or related qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- The ability to adapt and succeed in high-pressure service periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- A positive attitude that is aligned with our company values and culture.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A curious mindset with a desire to expand their knowledge and grow in an empowering workplace environment.
