Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide assistance and care to individuals with disabilities. In this role, you will support clients in their daily activities, promote independence, and enhance their quality of life. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to helping others and the ability to work collaboratively with a team, making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:

– Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.

– Support clients in developing and maintaining independence in their daily routines.

– Implement individualized care plans and monitor client progress.

– Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.

– Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

– Maintain accurate records of client care and progress.

– Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

– Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Disability Support.

– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

– Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to client welfare.

– Current First Aid and CPR certification.

– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
