Description

The Co-Group is seeking compassionate and reliable Female Support Workers to provide personal care, domestic assistance, and social support to a range of clients across the Hunter region.

This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent hours across multiple clients and who enjoys making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Below are the shifts currently on offer:

Kurri Kurri

  • Tuesday, 11:30am – 2:30pm (fortnightly)
  • Social Support
  • Provide supervision and companionship while the client’s spouse is away
  • Monitor client safety, particularly when working in the shed and around potential hazards

East Maitland

  • Tuesday, 12:30pm – 1:30pm (weekly)
  • Domestic Assistance
  • General household cleaning duties

Thornton

  • Monday and Friday mornings (times to be confirmed)
  • Personal Care
  • Assistance with daily living activities and personal care routines

Rutherford

  • Wednesday morning (2-hour shift)
  • Personal Care
  • Support with personal care and activities of daily living

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Access to a comprehensive insured car with 5 seats
  • NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You 
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
  • Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
