The Co Group is hiring a Female Support Worker for an NDIS Participant in Glenfield to assist with walking their dog and transporting the client.

Services Required:

• Monday- Friday 1pm to 5pm
• Saturday 9:30am to 12:30pm
• Sunday 9:30am to 12:30pm

Requirements:

• Must like dogs
• Have a reliable car and GPS while driving access
• Excellent English verbal and written communication
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence & access to a comprehensive-insured car
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment
• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be willing to provide all aspects of support: including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance, community access and personal care

What you’ll do:

• Complete all tasks relevant to support work including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance, community access and personal care
• Empower participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible
• Be a trusted and reliable point of contact for participants and their families
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as shift notes, progress notes, behaviour charts and incident reports.
• Follow company policies and procedures
