Description
The Co-Group is seeking dedicated Female Support Workers to support a participant in Norwood. Previous experience working with individuals experiencing mental health conditions is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience supporting people with complex medical needs or those with a healthcare background.
The participant is bed-bound and requires assistance with personal care tasks, including pad changes, administration of enemas, and support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
The following shifts are available for this opportunity:
- Monday from 3:30pm to 7pm (fortnightly)
- Tuesday from 5pm-11pm, then 11pm-7am (passive)
- Wednesday from 7am-1:15pm, 4pm-11pm/11pm-7am (passive)
- Thursday from 7am-9am, then 2pm-11pm/11pm-7am (passive)
- Friday from 7am-11am
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Access to a comprehensive insured car with 5 seats
- NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
- SA Working With Children’s Check for paid employment
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
