We are currently seeking dedicated Female Aged Care Support Workers to join our growing team, supporting clients across the Tweed Heads, Tugun, Kingscliff, and Murwillumbah regions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, values meaningful client relationships, and is comfortable working across both aged care and disability support services.

About the role:

This role involves providing high-quality support to both aged care and NDIS participants within their homes and local communities.

You will be assisting clients with:

• Personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Medication assistance and management
• Mobility support and transfers
• Meal preparation and nutrition support
• Dementia care and support for clients with higher care needs
• Domestic assistance and household cleaning
• Community access and social support
• Promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life

Aged care shifts are generally 2 to 4 hours in duration, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable working multiple back-to-back shifts throughout the day rather than supporting a single client for an extended shift.

Requirements 

– Valid Driver’s Licence 

– Access to a comprehensive insured car with 5 seats 

– NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You  

– NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment 

– Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment 

– Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) 

– Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
