Disability Support Worker | Sunshine Coast & Moreton Bay | $38–$41 p/h + Benefits

Make a genuine difference, every single shift. We’re looking for confident, compassionate Support Workers to join our team supporting participants across the Glasshouse Mountains, Caloundra, Nambour and surrounding Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay areas.

This is complex, meaningful work and you won’t do it alone. Our team debriefs together, supports each other, and make sure you’re never left to handle high-pressure moments on your own.

Shifts available:

• 6:00am – 2:00pm

• 2:00pm – 10:00pm

• 2:00pm – 6:00am (Sleepover, $140 allowance)

• 10:00pm – 6:00am (Active/Awake)

 What you’ll be doing:

You’ll support a diverse range of NDIS participants, including people with physical, intellectual, and psychosocial disabilities. Some participants have complex support needs, including behaviours of concern, and we’re looking for support workers who are confident, patient, and skilled in positive behaviour support strategies.

Must have to apply:

• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

• Ability to stay calm, adaptable, and responsive under pressure

• Blue Card for Paid work

• NDIS Worker Screening Check for Paid work

• NDIS Quality, Safety and You module

• First Aid & CPR certification

Experience with high/complex care, de-escalation techniques, or behaviour support plans is highly regarded.

 

Desirable: Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
