About the role

You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, participants, families and stakeholders attending or contacting our Dandenong Head Office.

Working alongside our Reception & Administration Officer, you’ll help keep the office running smoothly while delivering outstanding customer service and administrative support.

 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Welcoming visitors and creating a positive first impression
  • Managing incoming calls, emails and reception enquiries
  • Supporting participants, families and carers with professionalism and empathy
  • Directing enquiries to the appropriate staff member or team
  • Receiving and distributing mail and deliveries
  • Coordinating meeting rooms and visitor arrivals
  • Completing data entry, filing, scanning and document preparation
  • Maintaining reception and shared spaces to a professional standard
  • Supporting the Administration team with day-to-day administrative tasks

 

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous reception, administration or customer service experience
  • Enjoys interacting with a diverse range of people
  • Communicates confidently and professionally, both in person and over the phone
  • Stays calm and organised when juggling multiple tasks
  • Has strong attention to detail and computer skills
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Wants a stable role and is looking to become part of a team for the long term

Experience in disability, community services, health, aged care or the not-for-profit sector would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential.

 

The details

  • Part-time position (2 days per week –Thursdays & Fridays)
  • Located at our Dandenong Head Office
  • Ideally provides reception coverage from9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Some flexibility around finish times may be available for the right person
  • This is anonsite role and cannot be performed from home due to reception and visitor support responsibilities
