Due to ongoing growth and changes within AusHealth, we are currently looking for an After-Hours Client Support Officer to help support our existing team in providing exceptional round the clock service to our clients.

The After-Hours Client Support Officer will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, with a strong client centric approach to support external and internal stake holders via effective, professional & accurate management of all incoming communications. They will also be instrumental in supporting the delivery of quality service to all AusHealth clients, by managing various pre-planned & ad hoc testing sessions in line with all standard processes and procedures.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Client Services Team Leader you will be required to:

  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, emails and other enquiries relating to drug & alcohol testing, respiratory fit mask testing and more.
  • Timely & effectively fulfil all incoming Post Incident booking requests, including the sourcing and scheduling of collectors.
  • Manage, resource and plan client drug and alcohol testing schedules and respiratory fit mask testing in line with relevant client needs.
  • Arrange and book travel requirements for Collectors, Trainers & other AusHealth Diagnostics staff as required with consideration to cost effective arrangements and fatigue management.
  • Processing and actioning of any required paperwork received in line with company policies and client SOPs, including the processing of payments as required.
  • Additional support to the wider National Client Services team, in times of excess workload to ensure all client obligations are being met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Working on a variable & rotational roster with the flexibility to backfill shifts as required to cover for leave and staff shortages, including but not limited to weekend & overnight on call availability.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administration role.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills including the ability to establish positive relationships with internal and external customers, able to determine & address customer requirements and effectively deal with difficult customers.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication, negotiation, and teamwork.
  • Strong communication allowing to easily convey clear and concise information both verbally and written.
  • Experience in assessing priorities and working quickly and accurately to produce work of a high standard in a busy environment.
  • Strong administration skills including competence in using electronic databases and IT solutions to access and enter information with a high attention to detail and data entry accuracy.

This role will be offered on a Permanent Part Time basis with a split roster of 72 hours per fortnight (6pm – 6am), with additional ad hoc hours available in peak times including but not limited to, weekend and after hour needs. Applicants with experience working overnight shifts will be highly favoured, but not an essential requirement.

Please note: the successful candidate will complete a comprehensive 2-week training period during standard business hours before transitioning to the after-hours roster
