Your role:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Kindy room, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote children’s learning and development.
• Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, fostering strong relationships and encouraging their involvement in the Kindy community.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other educators and professionals to enhance the educational experience for children.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and foster a positive learning environment.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Working with Children Check clearance.
