Your role:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Kindy room, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs that promote children’s learning and development.
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care and education.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, fostering strong relationships and encouraging their involvement in the Kindy community.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to enhance the educational experience for children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within an early childhood setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and foster a positive learning environment.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Working with Children Check clearance.
