Room Leader – Atlantis Early Learning Yanchep Vertex
Pay Rate: $34.45 – $36.50 per hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a warm, passionate Room Leader to join our team at Atlantis Early Learning Yanchep Vertex on a full-time basis. Atlantis Early Learning Yanchep Vertex opened in 2022 and has been purpose-built in a stunning modern Hamptons design, thoughtfully created to reflect our relaxed coastal community. Our environments are homely, beachy, light, and bright, supporting children to feel calm, welcomed, and inspired as they explore and discover the world around them.
As a Room Leader, you will:
Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of developmentally appropriate learning programs
- Support, mentor, and guide your team to create a cohesive, high-performing environment
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment that promotes exploration and growth
- Monitor and document children’s development while ensuring alignment with quality and regulatory standards
- Oversee daily routines, transitions, and team collaboration to maintain a calm, consistent atmosphere
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including child protection, health and safety, and the NQF
- Participate in and encourage ongoing professional development and reflective practice
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident, compassionate Diploma Qualified Educator who is ready to step into leadership or who already thrives in a Room Leader role.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Have strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and relevant regulations
- Demonstrate experience or clear potential in team leadership
- Be a proactive, positive role model who fosters teamwork, respect, and open communication
- Be passionate about creating enriching, play-based learning experiences
- Have excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Hold current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and a valid Working with Children Check
- This is a full-time, Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 6:00pm
