As a Consumer Officer at the Tasmania Football Club (Club), you’ll play a key frontline role across retail, membership, activations and more, bringing the Club to life in communities across the state.

Your Role
We’re looking for energetic, hands-on team members who can wear multiple hats, from selling merchandise and memberships to helping deliver game-day and events. This role suits people who are flexible, proactive, and excited by variety. You’ll be part of a small, high performing team focused on creating unforgettable experiences for our members and supporters.
This is a casual role with varying shifts depending on operational requirements. Majority of work will be based in Southern Tasmania, with some opportunities across the state.
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Customer Service:
- Greet customers, members and fans with energy and professionalism
- Support the setup, operation and pack down of pop-up and permanent retail activations
- Process transactions accurately using the Club’s POS system
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and stocktake processes
- Ensure retail environments are clean, organised, and visually aligned with the brand
Memberships & Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional service to members and supporters across all membership channels
- Respond to membership enquiries via phone, email, online platforms, and in person in a professional and timely manner
- Process membership sales, renewals, upgrades, cancellations, and account updates accurately using the Club’s CRM system
- Support match day and event membership activations, including member assistance and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate member records and ensure data integrity across membership systems
Brand Representation
- Act as a positive and professional representative of the Club at all times
- Engage with fans and community members in line with Club values of pride, connection and inclusivity
- Contribute to a strong team culture built on trust, energy and shared purpose

You Bring
- Experience in retail or customer service (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Ability to stay organised and calm under pressure
- A current driver’s licence
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) check or willingness to obtain
- Interest in sport, entertainment, or event operations
