Team Leader (Workshop)

About the role:

This is a newly created Team Leader role established to support both the setup and ongoing operation of a new site. The position is hands‑on and operational, with responsibility for carrying out daily workshop activities in a safe, efficient, and organised manner. The role involves working independently, establishing and maintaining work practices, and contributing across a broad range of operational tasks as an all‑rounder within the workshop environment.

The position is full-time, based in Yatala, QLD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running the day‑to‑day operations of the site, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in an organised manner
• Coordinating and completing daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow
• Pick/packing, order preparation and ensuring accuracy before dispatch
• Coordinating production schedules and workshop resources
• Delivering efficient and effective work practices to ensure production capacity and meet deadlines
• Operating forklifts (up to 16t) and other machinery for loading and unloading sheet piles, machinery, and other products
• Performing general labouring tasks including handling, storing, and distributing materials
• Carrying out general administrative duties to support daily operations

What you’ll need:

• Experience as a Team Leader or in a similar supervisory role within a workshop, warehouse, or production environment
• Forklift (LF) license
• Excellent organisational skills
• Willingness to perform a variety of operational functions, including supervising, production tasks and operations tasks
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
