Machinery Salesperson – Takeuchi Equipment

About the Role 

Taminda Hydraulics & Engineering is seeking a motivated and experienced Machinery Salesperson to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of Takeuchi excavators, track loaders and related attachments. 

This role would suit someone with previous machinery sales experience or a strong background in earthmoving, agricultural, construction or heavy equipment. Applicants must be familiar with machinery and confident discussing machine features, applications and attachments with customers. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Promote and sell Takeuchi machinery and attachments. 
• Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers. 
• Assist customers in selecting the right machine and attachments for their needs. 
• Prepare quotes and follow up sales enquiries. 
• Conduct machine demonstrations and explain key features. 
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Takeuchi products. 
• Follow up leads and identify new sales opportunities. 
• Attend field days, trade shows and promotional events when required. 
• Keep accurate customer and sales records. 
• Work closely with our parts, service and management teams. 
• Provide professional after-sales support and maintain customer relationships. 

Skills and Experience 

• Previous machinery or equipment sales experience is preferred. 
• Must be familiar with earthmoving, construction, agricultural or similar machinery. 
• Strong communication and customer service skills. 
• Confident and professional sales approach. 
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships. 
• Good organisational and time-management skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Basic computer and administration skills. 
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
