Sync Lift Engineering is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for ongoing maintenance work at a major power station located in the Kingaroy / South Burnett region.

This is an excellent opportunity for tradespeople looking for a great work-life balance with a Monday to Thursday roster, allowing you to enjoy long weekends every week while working on critical plant maintenance projects.

About the Role

Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, your responsibilities will include:

• Mill major overhaul
• Fill-in maintenance during outages and planned work
• Mechanical maintenance and equipment repair
• Working safely within a heavy industrial environment
• Contributing to shutdown and maintenance schedules

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• Previous experience in power generation, mining, heavy industry or similar environment
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Current Driver’s Licence

Highly Desirable Tickets

Applicants holding any of the following will be highly regarded:

• Forklift Licence (LF)
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
• Dogging or Basic Rigging
• Confined Space & Working at Heights (advantageous)
