Truck Driver – Bulk Haulage

Symons Clark Logistics, is a proud 150-year-old transport and logistics business based in Port Adelaide. As we continue our journey of growth and transformation, we’re investing in our people, systems, and capability to support the next chapter of our business.

Due to a bumper harvest expected across South Australia this year, our Bulk Haulage business is expecting to be very busy, and we are looking for an experienced MC Truck Driver to join the team. Tipper experience is favorable but not essential, with training provided to the right candidate.

Based in Adelaide, with other regional locations across SA also considered, you will be transporting grain and other bulk materials across regional South Australia, with occasional interstate work. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys being on the road and is comfortable working away from home when required.

What you will be doing…

• Operating B-Double or Road Train combinations safely and efficiently.
• Transporting grain and other bulk materials across SA and interstate as required.
• Operating tipper equipment and ensuring loads are transported safely and securely.
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Managing your time and deliveries while providing good customer service.

Do you have…

• A current unrestricted MC Licence with demonstrated experience.
• B-Double experience, with tipper experience highly regarded
• A clean driving record and a strong commitment to safe driving.
• An understanding of Chain of Responsibility, mass and fatigue management requirements.
• Current BFM accreditation, or willingness to obtain, along with good communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Additional information:  Successful applicants will be required to complete a drug and alcohol screening, police check and provide a pre employment medical.
