Description
Symons Clark Logistics is a 150-year-old, family owned, Port Adelaide based transport and logistics company. Our experience brings with it premium wharf cartage and container transport services, with a focus on providing customers with complete logistics solutions including warehousing,
container pack/unpack, distribution, over-dimensional, heavy haulage, project
logistics and Australia wide bulk haulage.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the servicing and maintenance of refrigerated transport trailers and containers. As a part of the workshop team, you will be required to teach and mentor staff, whilst also working closely with the Workshop Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives. We will provide on the job training, to help build knowledge and experience in what Symons Clark do.
What you will be doing:
- Working your choice of day shift on a 7 on 7 off roster OR a Monday to Friday roster
- Servicing and maintenance of refrigerated transport trailers and containers
- All work to be carried out with safe work practices.
Do you have…

A Cert III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- C class driver’s licence essential (Truck HC or MC desirable)
- Proven experience servicing and maintaining refrigerated transport trailers and containers.
- Auto electrical and / or hydraulic knowledge (desired but not essential)
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- A strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- High risk forklift License (desired)
