Cleaner – Remote

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team in Logan Central, Queensland. This temporary, casual role is essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our social care facilities. The Cleaner will play a vital part in ensuring that our spaces are hygienic and welcoming for both staff and clients, contributing to the overall quality of care provided.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including restrooms and communal spaces
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure compliance with health standards
• Assist with the organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment

Qualifications:

• No formal education required; however, a basic understanding of cleaning practices is preferred
• Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
