Description

Lifestyle Support Worker – Night Shift (Part-Time) 

Stream Services is seeking compassionate and experienced Lifestyle Support Workers to join our growing team in Longreach, QLD. This rewarding role supports people with disability to live safely and comfortably overnight, while maintaining independence, dignity, and wellbeing. 

Ideally, you will have experience in the disability sector and are looking to grow your career in a supportive, positive team environment, with ongoing training and development opportunities. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Provide overnight support to NDIS Participants, including monitoring, assistance with personal care, and responding to needs during the night 
  • Support with light household tasks as required 
  • Ensure participant safety and wellbeing throughout the shift 
  • Follow individualised support plans aligned with participant goals 
  • Maintain accurate, NDIS-compliant documentation and reporting 
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver person-centred, high-quality care 

About You 

We’d love to hear from you if you have: 

  • Relevant qualifications in disability support, aged care, community services – or equivalent experience 
  • Experience providing person-centred support (preferred but not essential) 
  • A warm, empathetic and professional approach 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships 
  • Commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of people with disability 
  • Ability to work independently, particularly during overnight shifts 
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain) 
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) 
  • Valid driver’s licence 
  • Full working rights in Australia
