The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of projects from concept through construction and building strong relationships with clients throughout North Queensland.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading civil engineering projects from feasibility through construction
- Civil design including roads, drainage, pavements and earthworks
- Stormwater management and Civil DA reports
- Preparing tender and construction documentation
- Contract administration and construction support
- Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
- Client relationship management
- Project planning, budgets and quality assurance
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers
- Contributing to the continued growth of our Brisbane team
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (essential)
- 10+ years’ civil design consultancy experience
- Strong stormwater, flood modelling and pavement design knowledge
- Experience with 12D, AutoCAD, DRAINS, MUSIC or XPStorm will be highly regarded
- Solid knowledge of Australian Standards, planning frameworks, and engineering codes
- Sound understanding of Australian Standards and local authority requirements
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- RPEQ (or eligibility)
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
