Position Overview
We are seeking an organised, reliable and customer-focused Warehouse Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our site. This is a part-time, 0.6 FTE position working three days per week. Monday is a required working day, with flexibility around the remaining two days.
Internally known as the Site Administration Officer, this varied role will see you managing front-of-house enquiries, supporting warehouse dispatch activities, accounts receivable tasks and providing general administrative support to the site management and Quality teams. You will work closely with the General Manager, Site Operations Manager, Quality team, customers, carriers and employees across the site.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, customers and carriers
- Managing inbound telephone calls and general office enquiries
- Coordinating customer and courier collections
- Completing data entry and maintaining accurate records in warehouse and business systems
- Supporting accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, receipting payments and following up outstanding accounts
- Preparing documents, reports and spreadsheets as required
- Managing filing, stationery, consumables and general office requirements
- Providing administrative support to site management, the Quality team and broader warehouse operations
Key Requirements – About You
You will be an organised, approachable and reliable administrator who is comfortable working in a busy operational environment. You will communicate professionally with customers, carriers and employees, maintain a high level of accuracy, and confidently manage competing priorities. You will also be adaptable, willing to learn new systems and processes, and able to work independently while contributing positively to the broader site team.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Previous experience in administration, office support, reception or a similar role
- Certificate III or higher in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence using business systems and completing accurate data entry
- Current driver’s licence
- First Aid and Emergency Warden training, or willingness to obtain
Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Certificate IV in Business Administration
- Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, dispatch or warehouse administration
- Experience in an operational, manufacturing, healthcare or regulated environment
