Want a role where you can genuinely make a difference? Join St John Queensland and help empower the next generation with life-saving skills. As a First Aid in Schools Educator, you’ll deliver fun, engaging sessions that give primary school students the confidence to act in an emergency.

This isn’t your typical educator role — it’s hands-on, meaningful, and community-driven.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver interactive 60-minute first aid sessions to primary school students

• Teach kids how to recognise emergencies and respond using DRSABCD

• Create a safe, engaging and age-appropriate learning environment

• Set up and pack down training equipment

• Represent St John with professionalism and pride in schools across Brisbane

You’re confident, engaging and love working with people — especially kids.

• Ability to explain simple concepts in a fun and clear way

• Commitment to safety, inclusion and child safeguarding

Requirements

• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

• Current Blue Card (Working with Children)

• Criminal History Check

• Open Driver Licence (C Class)
