SRG Hospitality – Sails Lavender Bay, McMahons Point

Sails Lavender Bay is currently recruiting for Waiter / Drinks Waiter to join our friendly and motivated team.

Sails Lavender Bay, McMahons Point is located on the water overlooking the harbour with stunning views of the city and the harbour bridge.

Some of your main duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Setting and arranging tables
  • Taking reservations, greeting customers and taking orders
  • Recommending dishes and wines to complement food
  • Take orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
  • Serving food and beverages
  • Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers

We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:

  • Certificate III in Hospitality and/or at least 18 – 24 months experience;
  • Ability to multi-task, to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure;
  • Reliable, punctual and trust worthy;
  • High standard of personal presentation and hygiene;
  • Must work well in a team environment;
  • Positive attitude and passion for cooking;
  • Sound understanding of HACCP & Food and Safety Regulations & requirements;
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

Salary Package: $80,000 to $90,000 plus Super depending on qualifications and experience.
