Description

About Spectrum Space

People thrive when they feel a genuine sense of belonging.

At Spectrum Space, we create spaces where autistic people can connect, spend time in ways that feel right for them, and be part of a community where they are accepted as they are.

Our programs are shaped around choice, shared interests, and individual preferences, alongside opportunities for connection and learning through workshops, education sessions, and our annual Symposium. These spaces bring together people with lived experience, families, and the broader community in ways that support understanding, confidence, and connection.

We focus on creating environments that are respectful, inclusive, and neuro-affirming, where people can engage in ways that feel comfortable and authentic.

About the role

To support this work, we’re looking for an Operations & NDIS Compliance Manager who will help ensure our organisation runs smoothly day-to-day, with strong, practical systems in place.

This role combines operational leadership with NDIS compliance, helping create a consistent, safe, and well-supported environment for both participants and staff.

  • Maintain incident, complaints, and risk systems
  • Embed clear, workable processes that support staff in their roles

  • Solid understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting or preparing for NDIS audits or registration

You enjoy making things work well, supporting teams, and creating structure that helps people do their best work.

Why this role matters

The way our organisation runs behind the scenes shapes the experience of the people we support.

This role helps ensure our spaces remain consistent, safe, and supportive, so people can connect in ways that feel right for them.

Our commitment to inclusion

We welcome and encourage applications from people with:

  • Lived experience of autism, disability, or neurodivergence
  • Diverse cultural and community backgrounds

We value different ways of thinking and being, and we are committed to creating a workplace where people feel respected, supported, and able to contribute in ways that work for them.

If there’s anything we can do to make the recruitment process more accessible, we’re open to working with you.
