The Job:

We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef at one of our multi site venues, Club Officer to work in our thriving, fast paced Bistro. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. This permanent, full-time position is ideal for an enthusiastic individual looking to advance their career in the hospitality industry, contributing to our commitment to high-quality food and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with the venue’s standards.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
  • Contribute to menu planning and the creation of new dishes.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary qualification or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality and catering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
