- Currently undertaking a university qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Ability to apply for and obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Ability to apply for and obtain a Working With Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent.

South Coast Therapy and Support Group is committed to supporting the next generation of Occupational Therapists through student placement opportunities. We regularly partner with universities to provide students with practical experience in a supportive and professional allied health environment.
Students completing a placement with our team may gain exposure to:
- Community and clinic-based Occupational Therapy services
- NDIS, aged care, DVA, and private clients
- Functional assessments and therapy interventions
- Report writing and clinical documentation
- Multidisciplinary teamwork and professional development
- Real-world application of evidence-based practice
All placements are supervised by qualified Occupational Therapists who are committed to fostering learning, professional growth, and clinical confidence.
Placement Availability
Due to the high demand for placements and our commitment to maintaining quality supervision and learning experiences, placement positions are limited. We encourage students to express their interest as early as possible, as available placement opportunities may fill quickly.
Students interested in completing a placement with South Coast Therapy and Support Group are welcome to submit an expression of interest outlining their university, placement requirements, and preferred dates. While we aim to support as many students as possible, placement availability cannot be guaranteed.
