The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Sports Turf Manager to oversee the upkeep of high-quality sporting surfaces across the Sutherland area. You’ll be responsible for cylinder mowing, turf maintenance and ensuring grounds are kept to a high standard. This is a great opportunity to work across quality sporting facilities, develop your turf management skills and build a long-term career. Candidates from sports turf, greenkeeping, grounds maintenance or landscaping backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintain high-quality sports turf across sporting fields and facilities
• Complete cylinder mowing to maintain consistent turf height and presentation
• Carry out regular turf maintenance, mowing and general grounds upkeep
• Monitor turf health and identify issues affecting grass quality and growth
• Operate and maintain turf management machinery and equipment
• Complete fertilising, watering and turf treatments as required
• Prepare and maintain playing surfaces to meet required standards
• Identify and manage weeds, pests, disease and other turf issues
• Liaise with clients and site teams to ensure grounds are maintained to a high standard
• Maintain tools and equipment while following all site safety requirements

What will you need?

• Hort, Sports Turf or Greenkeeping experience
• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
• Current driver’s licence (auto or manual)
• MR Licence (Highly desirable)
• National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
