About the Position:

Are you an experienced grounds maintenance professional ready to take the next step into leadership? Solutions+ is looking for a hands-on Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to lead a team delivering high-quality commercial grounds and horticultural maintenance.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship and can bring out the best in the people around them. You’ll work alongside your team, keep daily operations running smoothly and help maintain attractive, well-presented commercial landscapes.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead a team delivering high-quality commercial landscape maintenance
• Work hands-on alongside the team, completing daily mowing, edging, pruning and garden maintenance.
• Operate zero-turn mowers, ride-on machinery and specialised grounds equipment.
• Use a range of handheld power tools and machinery to maintain gardens, lawns and green spaces.
• Complete hedging, trimming, blowing, weeding, mulching and general horticultural works.
• Allocate daily tasks, support the team and ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Complete pre-starts, SWMS, Take 5s and other required site safety and reporting tasks.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks, rectifying maintenance issues as required.
• Communicate with clients on-site and represent Solutions+ professionally at commercial properties.
• Lead by example on-site, maintaining a safe workplace while delivering quality work alongside your team.

What will you need?

• A current driver’s licence, manual or automatic.
• Experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture or landscaping.
• Confidence operating ride-on mowers, zero-turn mowers and relevant grounds maintenance equipment.
• The ability to organise daily work, support a team and maintain high-quality standards.
• A practical, hands-on approach and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• A National Police Check
