We are currently seeking an experienced Weighbridge & Administration Assistant at Sapphire Feedlot near Goondiwindi, who has a genuine interest in the Feedlot industry and is willing to commit to our mission of producing top-quality beef for our customers. You will be joining a dedicated administration team responsible for the accurate and efficient day-to-day office and administration operations of the feedlot.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate the Feedlot weighbridge system to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- General administrative tasks and reception duties.
- Support managers with stock control, inventory and maintenance.
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports and accounts reconciliation.
- Provide administrative support to the senior management team.
- Manage livestock and commodity administration including documentation, contracts, record keeping and reconciliation.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external reporting for customers and vendors.

- Accurate record keeping with a high importance on data integrity and quality.
- Assist in maintaining company standards of animal welfare and WHS responsibilities.
- Contributing to other areas of the feedlot as required.
Skills and Abilities:
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Intermediate level MS Office proficiency and the ability to learn Feedlot specific software.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight daily deadlines.
- An understanding of, or interest in, the livestock and feedlot industry
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously but also be confident in a team environment
- Current drivers licence.
- Feedlot experience is advantageous.
