ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a curious Senior Valuer based in Dandenong VIC, who wants to work in a high performing team on wide range of exciting engagements including plant and equipment, machinery and heavy assets! This role is based in Melbourne VIC, but complements to our National Valuations team. 

Our Valuers are expected to undertake all necessary tasks to deliver valuation reports, from scope confirmation and quoting through to report completion. You would be joining a strong National Valuations practice led by the General Manager Valuations and our Director, who both strive to support, engage, challenge and develop the team.

Key responsibilities of this permanent, full-time (Mon – Fri) role include:

• Performing valuation inspections
• Formulating valuation reports in industry segments you specialise in, and providing support to areas in which other senior valuers are specialists; Manufacturing Equipment, Process Plants, Pharmaceutical Plants, Mining, Earthmoving Equipment, Marine, General Plant and Equipment
• Liaising with clients and contractors to coordinate client instructions
• Maintaining existing client relationships
• Adhering to the industry body requirements, rules of practice, codes of ethics, policies and objectives
• Taking active part in training (both internal and/or external), and helping develop emerging Valuers.

ABOUT YOU

• Completed an accredited API, AMEA, RICS, ASA course in Valuations (highly desired) or willingness to obtain
• 5 years of vehicle, plant or machinery valuation/appraisal experience 
• Sound knowledge or interest in plant, equipment and heavy assets
• Good computer skills (MS Office and internet) with excellent research skills
• Current Driver’s License & willingness to travel for business as required
• Can do ‘Leave it with me’ proactive approach to supporting the Valuations team and business.
• Ability to work autonomously and to deadlines and application of focus on detail.
