Sinclair Wilson are looking for an experienced and detailed-orientated Client Payroll Officer to join our Warrnambool office. This position is full-time and coordinates our external payroll functions, managing end-to-end payroll processes and reporting requirements.
About the Role
This is a dynamic role where each day brings new challenges and opportunities to apply your payroll
expertise. You will work across 76 client portfolios and key payroll programs including Xero, MYOB and Employment Hero. Your accuracy, professionalism, and approachable nature will play an important part in ensuring a seamless payroll experience for our clients.
About You
You are a meticulous and dependable payroll or finance professional with solid experience in payroll
and bookkeeping, including the ability to work confidently across a variety of payroll platforms. You excel in a collaborative team environment but can also work autonomously to meet deadlines accurately and efficiently. With strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach, you provide professional support to our clients while ensuring full compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
Key Attributes
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping (or equivalent).
- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation and awards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and time management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to prepare accurate financial reports.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Experience in payroll or finance is essential.
