We’re looking for a Head of Healthcare Sales who understands healthcare environments, speaks the language of clinicians and procurement teams, and knows how to turn technical expertise into commercial outcomes.

About the role

Reporting into the CEO, working as part of the Commercial team,  you will build one of the most exciting growth engines within the Simba business across Home Care, Hospital, Aged Care, Community and Pharmacy sectors.

This is a hands-on commercial leadership role focused on driving revenue growth across Simba’s healthcare portfolio. You’ll be responsible for winning new business, expanding existing accounts, increasing product penetration and delivering against ambitious sales and growth targets across the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own and deliver annual sales, margin and growth targets across Simba’s healthcare portfolio.
  • Develop and execute a healthcare growth strategy focused on increasing market share and expanding Simba’s presence across key healthcare sectors.
  • Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities within hospitals, aged care providers, community care organisations, pharmacy groups and healthcare networks.
  • Grow existing customer accounts by increasing product penetration, introducing new product categories and identifying opportunities to broaden Simba’s footprint.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical stakeholders, procurement teams, executives and key decision-makers.
  • Manage the healthcare sales pipeline, ensuring consistent activity, opportunity development and conversion.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, identifying market trends, customer needs and opportunities for product innovation and expansion.

About you

You are a proven healthcare sales professional with a track record of driving revenue growth, winning new business and building long-term customer relationships.

You understand how healthcare organisations operate, can engage confidently with clinicians and procurement teams, and know what it takes to build trusted long-term relationships.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Clinical experience working within healthcare settings or a strong healthcare background is highly desired.
  • 5+ years’ experience in healthcare sales, preferably within consumables, medical products, textiles or related healthcare categories.
  • An understanding of NDIS product approval process and experience with NDIS distributors
  • A track record of achieving or exceeding sales budgets and revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, standards and procurement processes.
  • Established relationships across hospitals, aged care, community care, pharmacy and healthcare networks.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to conduct product demonstrations, education and training sessions.
  • Commercial acumen with a proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver revenue growth.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
