Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Gepps Cross, South Australia. This permanent, full-time role will partner with our Engineering and Operations teams to deliver key projects, some from inception through to completion. The role will also be responsible for engaging and liaising with external customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to coordinate activities, manage deliverables, and support successful project outcomes.  

What you will do: 

In this role, you will be responsible for the full project life cycle, leading multi-disciplinary internal and Defence projects to ensure that milestones are met, risks are managed, and the outcomes exceed expectations. This will look like: 

• Managing projects to maximise customer value through products and services 
• Ownership of all aspects of project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risk, and procurement 
• Maintenance and control of timelines, costs, and quality to deliver on time and within budget 
• Development and management of project plans, risk registers, and earned value metrics 
• Coordination of internal resources and external suppliers to meet technical and delivery requirements 
• Identification of risks and opportunities, driving proactive mitigation and improvement 
• Embedding project management best practice and continuous improvement across the business 

About you: 

You’re organised, dependable, and great at creating action. You ask questions, seek understanding, and don’t settle for “that’s how it’s always been done.” We are looking for someone who can navigate uncertainty, bring structure to complex problems, build strong working relationships, and drive outcomes in a dynamic environment..  

You will have: 

• Experience as a Project Manager, ideally in an engineering, Defence, or technology environment 
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, or extensive demonstrated experience 
• Experience in Microsoft Project 
• AIPM certification or similar PM accreditation, or you are working towards it 
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) 

Ideally, you will have an existing AGSVA Baseline clearance or above, or at least the ability to obtain one.
