Senior Accounts Officer

We’re looking for a capable Senior Accounts Officer to join our Head Office team in Pinkenba. You’ll work across the finance function of a national business, with exposure to reporting, budgeting, controls and day-to-day accounting operations, directly alongside our Financial Controller.

What you’ll be doing

• General ledger and month-end processes
• Processing weekly payroll and completing payroll reconciliations
• Preparing P&L and balance sheet reports
• Overseeing and supporting AP and AR functions
• Investigating discrepancies and resolving accounting issues
• Assisting with internal and external audits
• Working closely with the Financial Controller on broader finance matters 

What we’re looking for

• Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance (preferred)
• Experience processing payroll
• Strong problem-solving skills and commercial thinking
• Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
• Pronto or Employment Hero experience is a bonus, not a requirement
• Availability to work full-time from our Pinkenba office
