Customer Support Service Technician – North/West Sydney
Seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Technician to join our dynamic technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing corrective services, machine run-ups, installations and technical support across our full range of Sharp equipment.
This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical ability, a proactive mindset and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll also play a key role in supporting other technical staff and contributing to the ongoing success of our service team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults on Sharp devices to ensure reliable performance and high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and run-up machines for delivery, ensuring all pre-delivery checks are completed to Sharp standards.
- Install equipment onsite and provide end-user support where required.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of showroom devices to maintain peak performance.
- Manage spare parts and consumable inventory to reduce downtime and support accurate stock replenishment.
- Meet or exceed performance KPI’s including service levels, jobs per day and customer response times.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance and technical support to fellow technicians.
- Participate in ongoing product and technical training sessions.
- Perform other duties aligned with the Sharp Direct Technician structure.
