Share the Dignity is passionate about our work helping women, girls and those who menstruate, who are in need and eliminating period poverty in Australia. As a relatively young charity (11 years old), there are still so many ways to grow and improve what we do – and we are looking for people who would relish the challenge of being a part of this phase.

 

This is a full-time role for a temporary period of 3 months to support the Marketing, Advocacy and Communications team during an exciting and busy time of year. The Marketing and Communications Assistant Administrator will report to our Marketing, Advocacy and Communications Team Leader and support with administration related to marketing and communications.

 

The duties for this dynamic role include:

  • Providing administrative support to Marketing and Communications activities
  • Assisting with and drafting of creative briefs, content, and campaign assets for multiple platforms
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining Share the Dignity social media accounts
  • Collating photos, stories, and feedback
  • Assisting with initiatives and tactical campaigns
  • Ensuring effective communication by handling enquiries through our CRM, Salesforce, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders

We are looking for someone who can bring their enthusiasm for attention to detail and willingness to support the team in administrative duties. This role will be fast-paced, exciting and rewarding!

 

Being adaptable, flexible and responsive to changing circumstances is a must.  As is your ability to establish warm and respectful relationships with all stakeholders of Share the Dignity.

 

You are someone who is highly motivated, a creative thinker, loves administration work, and is proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent time management skills. Someone who communicates in a professional and respectful manner and can work cohesively in a busy team.

 

This role has been identified as interacting with children and young people- the successful applicant will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check prior to commencing in the role.

 

To be a successful candidate, you will have:

  • TAFE certificate in Business Administration, Marketing and Communications, or similar field, or previous experience/training relevant to this role
  • Proven experience in administration tasks with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly in writing, over the phone, and in person
  • Ability to monitor and report on progress to stakeholders
  • Ability to research, collate and keep pertinent information organised and accessible
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office skills

 

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with Meta Business Suite and other platforms
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
  • Experience with Mailchimp and other platforms
  • Familiarity with fundraising and communication systems and platforms
  • Previous experience in not-for-profit environment
