The role:

We’re on the lookout for compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our growing teams across North Brisbane including suburbs such as Mitchelton and Red Hill. In this role you’ll support NDIS participants out in the community. You will assist clients to engage in community including vibrant and meaningful activities such as swimming/hydrotherapy, shopping, visiting parks/beaches/cafes. Every shift is an opportunity to make someone’s day brighter while building genuine connections.

Shifts times:

Our clients enjoy getting out and about in the mornings, afternoons, and for full-day activities, so you’ll have a variety of shift lengths available from 2 to 8 hours. We are seeking Support Workers who enjoy flexible shorter shifts across mornings and afternoons. These shifts are ideal for people looking to balance work with family, study, or other commitments while still making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering person-centred support and following individual care plans.
  • Providing personal care (e.g. hoisting, showering, toileting, dressing, mealtime assistance).
  • Assisting with complex care needs such as peg feeding and dysphagia (full training provided).
  • Assisting clients to engage in community and recreational activities
  • Ensuring safe, compliant practices in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct and WHS standards.
  • You will need to ensure clients are equipped with all they need for their outing and support them with daily living, personal care or complex care needs.

What you’ll need:

  • Flexibility to work across mornings and/or afternoons, willingness to cover shorter shifts.
  • Passion for empowering people with disabilities (including individuals with complex support needs).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Card & Queensland Blue Card.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certifications.
  • Driver licence, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
