About the Role

Sensible Care is looking for caring and reliable Casual Care Workers to provide personalised care and support to clients in Whittlesea and surrounding areas.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and providing practical, respectful, and compassionate support to clients in their own homes.

Whether you have experience in Personal Care Assistance, Domestic Assistance, aged care, disability support, or community care, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities, as required
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and everyday routines
• Provide Domestic Assistance and help with household tasks
• Support clients with their individual needs while promoting independence and wellbeing
• Follow each client’s care plan and support requirements
• Observe and report any changes in the client’s needs or wellbeing
• Complete required care documentation
• Communicate respectfully with clients, their families, and the Sensible Care team
• Follow health, safety, and infection-control requirements

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in Personal Care Assistance, aged care, disability support, Domestic Assistance, or community care
• An Individual Support or Aged Care qualification is an advantage
• A nursing background is also welcome
• Has good English communication skills
• Is caring, patient, reliable, and respectful
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Is comfortable providing support in clients’ homes
• Is available for weekday shifts between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, with morning availability preferred
• Holds a current Australian driver’s licence
• Has comprehensive car insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
