Seers Digital is looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Developer to join our team and work on a strategic digital transformation initiative with a major Queensland Government organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new customer-facing digital platform from the ground up.

You’ll take a leading technical role in designing and developing a proof-of-concept transactional customer portal using .NET, React and Form.io, while helping establish the architecture, development standards and technical foundations for future migration of customer-facing digital services.

The Opportunity

This is more than a BAU development role.

You’ll be involved at the foundation stage of a significant digital platform initiative, helping validate the future-state architecture and technology stack while establishing patterns that can support future services.

You’ll work across solution design, architecture, development, integration, Azure services, DevOps, testing and deployment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the technical design and development of a new customer-facing transactional portal
• Design and develop solutions using .NET, React and Form.io
• Help establish foundational solution architecture and development standards
• Develop secure, scalable and maintainable application components
• Define and implement integration patterns with enterprise systems
• Support the configuration and use of relevant Microsoft Azure services
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices supporting ongoing development
• Participate in solution design and technical architecture discussions
• Lead or contribute to application testing, deployment and technical troubleshooting
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security and operational standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to other developers
• Produce high-quality technical documentation
• Support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement throughout the project

What We’re Looking For

• Strong senior-level commercial development experience with .NET / C#
• Strong experience developing modern applications using React
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade web applications
• Strong understanding of solution architecture and application design principles
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development
• Experience with APIs, integrations and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and modern development practices
• Strong understanding of application security, scalability and maintainability
• Experience establishing development standards and technical patterns
• Strong problem-solving and technical leadership capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Form.io
• Experience developing customer-facing transactional portals
• Queensland Government or broader government experience
• Experience delivering proof-of-concept or greenfield digital platforms
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy digital services
