Bring your sales skills. Build the relationship. Win the opportunity.

You know how to build relationships, manage a pipeline, navigate commercial conversations and turn opportunities into wins.

Now you’re ready to put that experience to work on something you can actually see come to life.

Sculptform is looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at our Bendigo headquarters.

You’ll manage a portfolio of significant architectural and construction opportunities, working directly with builders, contractors and subcontractors as projects progress from initial engagement through to purchase order.

These aren’t quick transactional sales. Our projects can have long sales cycles, so success comes from building genuine relationships, staying connected, following up consistently and knowing when to move an opportunity forward.

We’re looking for someone with proven sales success, commercial confidence, exceptional organisation and outstanding follow-up skills.

You don’t need architectural experience.

Bring us your sales experience, drive and a genuine interest in building and design. We’ll teach you the rest.

The Opportunity

As our Sales Consultant, you’ll take ownership of a substantial portfolio of qualified sales opportunities.

Some projects will progress quickly. Others may take months. You’ll need to understand where every opportunity sits, who needs to be engaged, when to follow up and what needs to happen next.

You’ll build trusted relationships with customers, confidently navigate commercial conversations and maintain momentum throughout the sales cycle.

Construction projects don’t always follow a straight line. Timelines change, decisions stall and priorities shift. That’s where patience, persistence and great follow-up matter.

This is a role for someone who can play the long game while staying focused on the commercial outcome.

What You’ll Own

  • Manage a substantial portfolio of qualified sales opportunities through to purchase order.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, subcontractors and installers.
  • Prepare, present, negotiate and proactively follow up quotations.
  • Understand the commercial drivers behind opportunities and confidently ask for the business when the time is right.
  • Maintain clear next actions and consistent follow-up across your sales pipeline.
  • Identify risks and issues early and proactively work towards solutions.
  • Develop the technical knowledge to confidently discuss our products, systems and installation methodology.
  • Work closely with Preconstruction, Estimating, Design, Customer Service and Production to win opportunities and ensure a smooth handover.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity information, activity and timelines within Salesforce.
  • Work towards clearly defined sales activity, conversion and performance targets and take ownership of your results.

Who We’re Looking For

First and foremost, you’re an experienced salesperson with a proven track record of delivering results.

Your industry background is less important to us than what you’ve achieved.

You may come from construction, building products, trade supply, manufacturing, automotive, property, professional services or another B2B sales environment.

You’ll bring:

  • A proven history of achieving sales targets and closing business.
  • Experience managing longer sales cycles and multiple opportunities.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organisation and follow-up.
  • Commercial confidence and the ability to have challenging conversations.
  • Patience and persistence when opportunities take time to convert.
  • A proactive approach — you always know what the next action should be.
  • Ownership, initiative and a genuine drive to win.
  • A genuine interest in building, construction, architecture or design.

Construction or architectural experience is not essential.

We’re far more interested in what you’ve achieved in sales and how you build and nurture customer relationships.

Why Sculptform?

You’ll join an established Australian manufacturer creating architectural products for ambitious projects across Australia and internationally.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on significant projects, develop expertise in a technical and design-led industry and grow your earning potential through performance-based salary progression and profit sharing.

Application Process

Our people are central to our success, and finding the right fit for our culture and values is important to us.

Our recruitment process typically involves two interviews followed by reference checks.

We’ll want to hear about your previous sales results, how you’ve managed longer sales cycles, how you build and maintain customer relationships and the systems and habits you use to stay on top of your opportunities.

For your confidential application, please submit your resume and cover letter via SEEK.

We thank all applicants for their interest. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
