Description
Project Sales Consultant
Bendigo, Victoria | Full-time | On-site $70,000–$90,000 + super | Profit Sharing | Performance-based salary growth
Bring your sales skills. Own the opportunity. Win the project.
You’ve started a successful career in sales. You know how to build relationships, manage a pipeline, navigate commercial conversations and turn opportunities into wins.
Now you’re ready to put that experience to work on something you can actually see come to life.
Sculptform is looking for a driven Sales Consultant to join our team at our Bendigo headquarters.
You’ll manage a portfolio of significant architectural and construction projects, working directly with builders, contractors and subcontractors to protect the design intent, progress opportunities through tender and procurement, and ultimately convert them into profitable orders.
This is not a passive sales role.
You’ll need to be comfortable discussing significant project values, dealing with experienced and sometimes direct construction professionals, managing competing priorities and confidently asking for the business.
We’re looking for someone with proven sales success, commercial confidence, exceptional organisation and the tenacity to keep a project moving when things don’t go to plan.
You don’t need architectural experience.
Bring us your sales experience, your drive and a genuine interest in building and design. We’ll teach you the rest.
Who We Are
Sculptform designs and manufactures premium architectural wall, ceiling and façade systems that help architects create extraordinary spaces.
From our headquarters in Bendigo, we work with architects, builders and contractors across Australia and internationally to make ambitious architectural designs buildable.
Our guiding phrase says it best:
Beautiful designs made buildable.
We’re innovative, ambitious and growing globally — and we’re looking for people who want to grow with us.
The Opportunity
As our Project Sales Consultant, you’ll take ownership of a substantial portfolio of qualified sales projects.
Your job is to build disciplined confidence with builders and contractors, ensuring projects specified with Sculptform successfully progress from opportunity to profitable order.
You’ll engage builders and subcontractors early, understand what’s happening commercially on each project and proactively drive the sales process forward.
You’ll need to know:
Where does the project stand? Who needs to be engaged? What’s holding it up? What’s the commercial opportunity? What’s the next action? And what do I need to do to win it?
Construction projects don’t always follow a straight line. Timelines change. Decisions stall. Specifications are challenged. Priorities shift.
That’s where tenacity matters.
We need someone who can maintain momentum despite challenges, setbacks or resistance — someone who looks for the next way forward rather than waiting for things to happen.
More Than Just Sales
We’re not looking for someone who can simply sell.
We’re looking for someone who can own the opportunity from project to purchase order.
You’ll be managing multiple projects at different stages, each involving different stakeholders, drawings, quotations, deadlines, commercial considerations and next actions.
Your organisation and time management need to be exceptional.
You’ll also develop the technical confidence to understand how our systems apply to a project, explain installation methodology and work with customers and our internal teams to find practical, commercially viable solutions that balance design intent, buildability and customer expectations.
Great sales skills will get you started.
Ownership, organisation and follow-through will make you successful.
What You’ll Own
As a key member of our Sales team, you’ll:
- Own and actively manage a substantial portfolio of qualified sales projects.
- Drive projects through tender, procurement and conversion to order.
- Build strong relationships with builders, contractors, subcontractors and installers.
- Engage key stakeholders early and proactively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Confidently discuss quotations and projects involving significant dollar values.
- Understand the commercial drivers behind each opportunity and what will influence the purchasing decision.
- Prepare, present and proactively follow up quotations.
- Negotiate, influence and confidently ask for the business.
- Protect Sculptform specifications and demonstrate the value of our solution.
- Maintain momentum and clear next actions across your project pipeline.
- Identify potential project risks and issues early and proactively work towards solutions.
- Develop the technical knowledge to confidently discuss our systems and installation methodology.
- Work closely with Preconstruction, Estimating, Design, Customer Service, Production and other internal teams.
- Maintain accurate project information, activity, timelines and next actions within Salesforce.
- Ensure successful projects are accurately and thoroughly handed over for fulfilment.
- Work towards clearly defined sales activity, conversion and performance targets.
- Take ownership of your results and continually look for opportunities to improve.
Who We’re Looking For
First and foremost, you’re an experienced salesperson with a proven track record of delivering results.
Your industry background is less important to us than what you’ve achieved.
You may come from construction, building products, trade supply, manufacturing, automotive, property, professional services or another B2B sales environment.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have a proven history of achieving targets and closing business.
- Are comfortable discussing and negotiating significant dollar values.
- Know how to develop trusted relationships while still driving towards a commercial outcome.
- Are confident dealing with builders, contractors, subcontractors and strong personalities.
- Can handle direct and challenging conversations professionally.
- Have the tenacity to keep pursuing an opportunity despite setbacks or resistance.
- Are exceptionally organised and can confidently manage a large pipeline of projects and competing priorities.
- Are conscientious and take pride in doing things properly.
- Have outstanding attention to detail.
- Follow through — if you say you’ll do something, you do it.
- Are proactive and identify the next action rather than waiting to be told.
- Are a practical problem solver who can balance customer needs with commercial outcomes.
- Are responsive and understand that momentum matters.
- Enjoy being accountable for targets and measuring your performance.
- Collaborate well with others and understand that winning a project is a team effort.
- Have a genuine interest in building, construction, architecture or design.
- Are hungry to learn, improve and win.
Sales Experience Matters. Architectural Experience Doesn’t.
We don’t expect you to arrive knowing everything about architectural wall, ceiling and façade systems.
We’ll teach you that.
What we’re looking for is much harder to teach:
Sales instinct.
Commercial confidence.
Tenacity.
Exceptional organisation.
Conscientiousness.
Ownership.
Attention to detail.
And the desire to win.
If you’ve built a successful sales career in another industry and have an interest in building and design, don’t assume you’re not qualified.
You could be exactly who we’re looking for.
Your Performance Will Be Rewarded
We believe strong performance should be recognised.
This role offers a competitive starting salary of:
$70,000–$90,000 + super.
You’ll also participate in Sculptform’s company-wide Profit Sharing Program.
And your earning potential doesn’t necessarily stop at your starting salary.
There is opportunity for further salary increases when agreed performance targets are achieved and consistently maintained.
For someone who is ambitious, commercially driven and motivated by results, this is an opportunity to be rewarded for both the experience you bring and the performance you deliver.
Why Sculptform?
Imagine bringing your sales experience into a role where you can actually see the result of what you’ve helped win.
The opportunities you convert become real buildings and spaces.
You’ll work on significant architectural projects, develop relationships across the construction industry and build your career with an Australian company operating globally — all from our headquarters in Bendigo.
You’ll also enjoy:
- Starting Salary of $70,000–$90,000 + super.
- Company-wide Profit Sharing.
- Opportunity for further performance-based salary growth.
- Genuine career development opportunities.
- Comprehensive product and industry training.
- Exposure to significant architectural and construction projects.
- The opportunity to work with leading builders, contractors and construction professionals.
- A collaborative, ambitious and high-performing team.
- Free on-site parking.
- Daily catered morning tea.
- Barista coffee available every day.
- The opportunity to contribute ideas and make a genuine impact as our business grows.
Our culture is built around four values:
Happy. Hungry. Honest. Humble.
For this role in particular, Hungry matters.
We want someone with a genuine desire to win and continuously improve — while remaining conscientious, collaborative and committed to doing the right thing.
Build a Global Career from Bendigo
This is a full-time, on-site role at Sculptform’s Bendigo headquarters.
