Human Resource Officer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the human resource function, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, WHS – RTW and incident management and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of human resource best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures
• Assist with rolling out global online employee orientation and onboarding
• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
• Assist Key Stakeholders in implementing performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans
• Coordinate training and development programs for employees
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records via online HRIS
• Manage WHS incidents and reporting plus RTW management
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on human resource issues
• Be the first point of contact for all employee enquiries
• Assist People and Culture BP with annual incentive and salary increase roll out

Essential Criteria:

• 2+ years of experience in human resources
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS utilisation
