Join our team as a Sales & Installation Consultant – Where Design Meets Delivery

Are you passionate about interiors and driven by delivering a great client experience? Santa Fe Shutters is looking for a Sales & Installation Consultant to join our team. You’ll work directly with homeowners, designers, and builders to sell and install New Zealand’s most customisable range of shutters and blinds.

This is a full-time, salaried role with commission and performance incentives, perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, client interaction, and seeing a job through from consultation to completion.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Consult & Design: Work with clients, interior designers, and developers to propose high-quality shutter and blind solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Sell & Close: Guide clients from product selection to signed quote, ensuring accuracy and great communication.
  • Measure & Quote: Accurately measure, photograph, and document job specs using our quoting system and CRM.
  • Install & Follow Up: Complete installation of blinds and shutters (where required) and resolve any post-installation service needs.
  • Client Management: Maintain proactive communication throughout the project and build long-term relationships.
  • Continuous Learning: Attend regular product training, trade events, and internal team meetings.
  • We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Is confident measuring spaces and dealing with technical detail
  • Can work independently and manage their own time and territory
  • Is detail-oriented and quality-driven
  • Has a full driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Is eligible to work in New Zealand
  • What We Offer:

    Base Salary: A competitive base salary

    Commission: A % of total sale value (terms apply per quote structure)

    Fitting Fee: A per blind/shutter panel installed, per our installation schedule

    Company Vehicle: Supplied for work use

    Work Tools: Phone, laptop, and required tools provided

    Ongoing Training: Product and system training delivered internally with a 6 week training program

    Travel & Expenses: Overnight accommodation and job-related travel expenses are covered per company policy
