Join the dynamic team at SC Medical as a Lead Biomedical Engineer!

Your Role: As a full-time Site Lead Biomedical Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding service. You’ll be at the forefront of handling medical equipment service repairs, conducting routine service testing, and ensuring preventative maintenance in line with Australian Standards. You’ll also be arranging your own work schedule, managing priorities, and reporting directly to hospital managers. Your proficiency in administrative tasks, including database management, reporting, and stakeholder communication, will be crucial.

Experience in the Healthcare Industry, ideally with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (relevant certificates are also considered). A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience is required.

What You Bring:

Experience in the Healthcare Industry, ideally with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (though relevant certificates are also considered). Preferably, more than 2 years’ experience is required.

Adept in electrical, electronic, and computer skills for modern medical equipment maintenance.

Experience in developing and implementing test methods and equipment, calibration, and validation in medical device contexts.

Experience in developing and maintaining good customer relationship and demonstrated ability to report and communicate properly to customers.

Exceptional time-management, organisational skills, and the ability to balance complex priorities.

The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

Australian Driver’s Licence and your own car

Police Check and Working With Children Check clearance before commencement.

Fluency in English and Covid-19 vaccination status.
