The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in South Australia. You will be responsible for the day to day management of branch operations across barrier works, the workshop and the yard, while supporting the electronics side of the business.

This is a full time, office based role with regular yard and site attendance. You will take a hands on approach to leading the team, coordinating resources and providing world class service to our customers.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing daily branch operations across barrier works, the workshop and yard
  • Leading and supporting the Barrier Supervisor, labourers and Workshop Technician 
  • Coordinating schedules, labour, equipment and transport to meet customer requirements
  • Supporting the Operations Coordinator with resources and backup for electronics operations 
  • Ensuring equipment is maintained, prepared and ready for hire
  • Providing world class customer service and resolving enquiries and concerns
  • Managing costs, equipment utilisation and accurate operational records 
  • Supporting deliveries, collections and yard duties when required
  • Maintaining workplace safety and driving continuous improvement

What you will bring

  • Experience in operations, logistics or team supervision, with hire industry experience desirable.
  • Strong organisational, scheduling and leadership skills.
  • A hands on approach and willingness to support yard and driving duties
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.
  • A current unrestricted driver’s licence and ability to provide backup driving support. 
  • Flexibility to provide occasional after hours support.
