Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of our Food & Beverage department, with a primary focus on the successful execution of events. Working closely with the Events team and reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring all events are delivered to a high standard from operational handover through to completion.

In addition to overseeing event operations, the Food & Beverage Supervisor provides leadership across restaurant and bar service, supports team development, assists with rostering, and helps maintain exceptional member and guest experiences across all F&B outlets.

Key Responsibilities

Events

  • Own the operational delivery of events following handover from the Events team, ensuring run sheets are executed to a high standard.
  • Coordinate setup, service, and pack down while leading staff and maintaining smooth communication across departments.
  • Monitor event flow, resolve issues proactively, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Restaurant & Bar Operations

  • Supervise daily F&B operations, ensuring professional service standards are maintained.
  • Lead by example, support service delivery, and assist with opening/closing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness, compliance, and support stock control as required.

Team Leadership & Administration

  • Support, train, and motivate F&B team members to deliver outstanding service.
  • Assist with rostering, labour management, timesheets, and operational reporting.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and accountable team culture.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, hygiene, and RSA requirements.

  • Previous F&B supervisory experience across events, restaurant, and bar operations.
  • Experience in premium hospitality environments such as hotels, resorts, or private members’ clubs is highly regarded.
  • Confident managing events, interpreting run sheets, and delivering seamless service.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Lightspeed, PeopleVine, Mews, and SevenRooms is preferred.
  • Experience with rostering and team coordination.
  • Current RSA certification.
