A space designed for slow sipping, thoughtful conversations, and refined service, it brings together premium spirits, bespoke cocktails, and curated guest experiences.Role OverviewThe Bartender is a key ambassador of The Library Bar experience. You will lead the creation, preparation, and service of world-class cocktails and beverages, delivering personalised, story-driven service to our guests. This role demands a strong passion for flavour, presentation, and the art of hospitality.Key ResponsibilitiesCocktail Creation & Beverage ExpertiseCraft and serve exceptional cocktails, mocktails, and beverages to a consistently high standard.Develop signature drinks and seasonal menus aligned with The Library Bar’s identity.Maintain extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, and beverage trends.Guest Engagement & ServiceDeliver warm, personalised, and intuitive service that reflects ROKI Collection’s values.Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations and storytelling to enhance their experience.Create a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere for all guests.Bar OperationsEnsure bar setup, mise-en-place, and closing procedures are to standard.Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and maintain accurate inventory.Uphold exceptional cleanliness and organisation across the bar environment.Compliance & SafetyAdhere to all food safety, health, and liquor licensing regulations.Maintain a Duty Manager certificate or be willing to obtain one.Teamwork & CollaborationWork collaboratively with the FOH and F&B teams to deliver seamless service.Support training and development of junior bar staff when required.Contribute ideas to improve guest experience and bar operations.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 2 years’ experience in a premium bar, lounge, or luxury hospitality environment.Proven cocktail-making skills and ability to produce drinks with consistency and flair.Strong understanding of classic cocktails, contemporary techniques, and mixology trends.Excellent communication and guest-service skills.Passion for creativity, detail, and elevating the guest experience.location: 2 Brunswick Street, Queenstown, 9300salary $27.00 – $32.00guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week.
