About the Role:

The Casual Kindy+ Bus Driver role involves safely transporting preschool-aged children and educators to and from excursions using the Rise and Shine Kindergarten bus. This experienced driver is responsible for maintaining a high standard of road safety, adhering to all road laws and child safety regulations. The role also includes conducting pre-trip vehicle safety checks and maintaining a calm and responsible presence when interacting with children and staff. The bus is located at our head office in Kogarah.

Requirements:

  • Current WWCC
  • LR Licence (Light Rigid) minimum and Transport for NSW Authorised Bus Driver
  • Demonstrated experience driving buses to transport children
  • Ability to remain calm, patient and attentive at all times
  • Excellent reliability and punctuality
  • Strong communication skills when working with educators and children
  • Commitment to child safety and duty of care at all times
