Working with franchised and independent hotels across Australia, we provide outsourced Revenue Management, commercial strategy, business intelligence and distribution expertise.

As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Director of Revenue Management to join the business. This is an opportunity to become one of the first senior leaders within a growing consultancy and play a key role in shaping its future.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Founder & Managing Director, you will take ownership of a portfolio of approximately 15 hotels while acting as a trusted commercial advisor to hotel owners, General Managers and senior leadership teams.

This role combines strategic revenue management, client relationship management and commercial consulting. You will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence both client performance and the future direction of RevInsights Consulting.

As the business grows, there is a clear pathway to transition into a permanent leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial performance of a portfolio of approximately 15 hotels.
  • Develop pricing, inventory and distribution strategies that maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Lead weekly revenue meetings with hotel leadership teams.
  • Prepare forecasts, budgets, demand analysis and strategic commercial recommendations.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor performance and demand drivers using industry benchmarking tools.
  • Optimise channel mix, OTA performance and rate integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve RevPAR, ADR and overall commercial performance.
  • Build trusted relationships with hotel owners, General Managers and franchise partners.
  • Support hotel openings, rebranding projects and revenue system implementations.
  • Contribute to client onboarding and ensure a high standard of service delivery.
  • Mentor junior revenue professionals as the team expands.
  • Recommend improvements to internal processes, reporting and automation.
  • Support business development activities by participating in client presentations and providing commercial expertise where required.

About You

You are an experienced hotel revenue leader who enjoys working across multiple properties and thrives in a consulting environment. You’re commercially minded, highly analytical and confident presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Essential Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience in Hotel Revenue Management.
  • Multi-property or regional revenue management experience.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability.
  • Proven experience delivering improvements in RevPAR, ADR and profitability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with franchised hotel brands such as Accor, Radisson, Best Western, or similar.
  • Experience using IDeaS or comparable revenue management systems, Opera Cloud, Protel
  • Strong knowledge of hotel distribution, SiteMinder and OTA optimisation.
  • Experience with Opera, Protel or similar PMS platforms.
  • Power BI or advanced Excel skills.
